Minibar Policy
Standard :
+ Check and replenish minibar items in guest-rooms daily.
Policy :
· The task of minibar fill-up in guest room is very important in hotel. It brings the convenience to guest staying in rooms. Most hotels from 3 stars upwards have minibar items fill-up.
· The number of each minibar items and which kind of minibar items set up in guest room are instructed by Management Board of hotel.
· Kinds of complimentary minibar item for guests staying in hotel are according to Board of Management’s instruction.

· HSKP coordinators have to pay more attention to and control minibar items out of date in each minibar in guest rooms.
· Room Attendant has to check minibar out of date in guest rooms and pay more attention to this.
Procedures :
· Room Attendant checks the minibar in all rooms at about 9:30 am daily (Check all rooms : Vacant rooms, Occupied rooms, Expected Arrival and Expected Departure, except those with DND and Double lock rooms)
· Room Attendant checks total items being consumed in minibar and count the total amount.
· Room Attendant fills up sufficient quantity and charges minibar consumption into minibar voucher accurately.
· Floor supervisor collects the minibar voucher and forward to Front Office (Receptionist) as soon as possible.
· By noon time (12:00 am) R/A double check the minibar of all rooms which can not be entered previously.
· R/A monitors the check-out time for all non-accessible rooms in the second checking and performs the minibar checking ones being informed by receptionist.
· R/A calls the receptionist for any minibar checking which has been informed by Front Office or HSKP Office. A minibar voucher has also to be followed up afterwards.
· R/A replenishes the minibar items accordingly after room cleaning is finished.
