Complimentary rooms
Standard
Complimentary rooms can only be approved by the General Manager, or EAM in his absence.
Procedure
1. The FO Supervisor/ Reservation Supervisor or Front Office Manager will ensure that the appropriate authorization is obtained prior to arrival.
2. Receptionist or HoD requesting a complimentary room for clients etc. must complete the “Complimentary Room Request” form, stating guest’s name, company, reason for complimentary room, arrival / departure details, room-type etc.
3. The form will be forwarded to the General Manager, who then will approve / deny the request. Only after the written approve by the General Manager the reservation will be entered into SMILE.
4. Front Office staff should treat Complimentary Room Guests as VIPs, as there are always special reasons why they are given such.
