Maintaining Lobby area
Standard
The hotel lobby area must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Remember this is the main entrance to our hotel and its condition will affect our guest’s first impression.
Procedure
General cleaning is performed by housekeeping for the Lobby area but it is the Bellmen and receptionist’s responsibility to ensure it is kept clean and tidy at all times.
1. Pick up any rubbish or newspapers that may have been left by our guests.
2. Straighten any furniture or cushions that may have been moved.
3. Clean dirty Glasses immediately
4. Empty and clean any dirty ashtrays. Always have spare ashtrays behind desk.
5. If the lobby needs general cleaning, Housekeeping Public Supervisor must be informed.
