Wake-up call

Standard :

- When guests staying in our hotel, sometimes they ask for early wake up call from Operator

- Rooms which the wake up call cannot be performed by hotel operator e.g. nobody answers the call or the line is engaged, etc., would be followed up by HSKP R/A respectively.

Procedures :

1. R/A receive the wake up call request from HSKP Office (Usually very early in the morning).

2. R/A check the room physically as soon as possible.

3. If guest is in/ still sleeping, Room Attendant knocks the door and says “Good morning/ Good afternoon/ Evening, I’m sorry to disturb you, Sir/ Madam, it is just a wake up call to you”.

4. If guest has left, R/A goes back to the pantry and inform HSKP Office the result.

5. In any circumstances, R/A must report HSKP Office whether guests has been already waken up; nobody’s in room or room is unable to enter the room.

6. HSKP Office call back to Telephone operator informing the result.

7. If the hotel operator calls guestroom many times but no answer, and so does HSKP Officer. R/A is then informed by HSKP Office:

If R/A goes straight to that room and see the “DND” sign outside the door, he/she must inform HSKP Office and Operator immediately and wait for the instructions for further actions.

If R/A go straight that room and see “Make Up Room, Please”, may be guests left already. R/A call HSKP Office to inform the result immediately.

If there is no sign on the door, R/A has to knock the door few times before entering. If nobody answers, use the key to open the door and inform the result to HSKP Office immediately.

If there is no sign on the door, but R/A finds that guest door is still double locked and nobody answers; R/A has to inform to HSKP Office, Hotel Operator, and Operating Manager immediately and will get instruction from them soon
